About the Blog
The CIILE Blog is operated by the Centre for Innovation, Incubation, Law, and Entrepreneurship (CIILE) at CNLU Patna, which was established to encourage and support startups in the field of law and legal entrepreneurship.
The blog prioritizes articles addressing contemporary issues or recent legal developments relating to business law, finance law and allied areas. Its primary goal is to provide a space for experts, students, and professionals to engage in research, discussions, and the exchange of insights, best practices, and innovative ideas in the realms of law and entrepreneurship.
Submission Guidelines
The CIILE Blog invites submissions on contemporary legal and interdisciplinary issues, fostering academic discourse and critical analysis. Authors are encouraged to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure the quality and uniformity of published content.
We invite scholarly blog contributions from individuals actively engaged in the field of law and allied disciplines. Submissions are accepted from the students currently enrolled in Undergraduate (UG) LL.B. program, Postgraduate (PG) degrees in law or related field, legal practitioner and Faculty of Law or Management.
Submission Categories
The CIILE Blog invites submissions on a rolling basis. It accepts analytical pieces on relevant legal and interdisciplinary topics, with a word limit of 1500-2000 words. The manuscript’s theme should revolve around Startups and allied area. Other suggestive themes can be:
- Startup Ecosystem and Legal Framework
- Corporate Governance
- IP Management in Innovation
- Technology, Privacy, and Data Protection
- Mergers, Acquisitions, and Exits
- International Business Law
However, the list is not exhaustive in nature and are just suggestive of themes in the indicated category.
Submission Guidelines:
- Submissions must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism or any use of Artificial Intelligence will result in outright rejection of the manuscript.
- Submissions may be made by individuals or co-authors, with a maximum of two authors.
- All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Submission should not contain content that is offensive, abusive, derogatory or against national interest.
- The piece must be analytical rather than descriptive.
- Each blog submission must be accompanied with five keywords.
Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Alignment: Justified
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Citation: Attach hyperlinks for references/ Must follow Harvard Bluebook [20th Edition]
- Submissions must be made in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- Word count is exclusive of citation.
Mode of Submission
The CIILE Blog accepts submissions on a rolling basis. All the submissions are to be made by sending a blog to our official Email ID [email protected] . Submissions made through any other medium will not be considered.
Review Process
The CIILE editorial team is committed to maintaining a swift and efficient review process. To ensure the quality and integrity of publications, we employ a double-blind review system conducted by our blog editors.
The review process consists of two stages:
1. Desk review: This initial round focuses on verifying adherence to the blog’s style guide.
2. Reviewer Round: The second round evaluates the quality and depth of the content.
Any relaxation of submission guidelines is at the discretion of the editors, based on the merit of the manuscript. Authors should be prepared to incorporate suggested revisions as required by the editors before final publication.
The review process takes a minimum 2-3 weeks and the decision about its acceptance or rejection will be communicated to the author within this time. Authors can seek updates in case of delays through our official email id [email protected].
