Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Legal Entrepreneurship (CIILE) is a Not-for-Profit Centre registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 as CNLU INNOVATION INCUBATION AND LEGAL FOUNDATION bearing CIN U85500BR2024NPL072610 at the Chanakya National Law University, Patna (CNLU, Patna). It encourages startups in the areas of Legal and social entrepreneurship within the institute and society. The goal of CIILE is to promote start-ups and entrepreneurship as a viable career option and as a means to make a social and strategic impact.
Providing Support to Startups
CIILE supports scaling up early-stage start-ups and facilitates converting business ideas into entrepreneurial ventures. To this end, CIILE aims to build and share resources, including space and infrastructure, access to business support services, seed funds, mentoring, and training programs to enhance the skills of entrepreneurs.
Fostering a Culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
CIILE works towards fostering a culture of innovation among students and faculty of educational institutions by organizing initiatives/events, startup fests, idea competitions, startup boot camps etc. This encourages students and faculty to work on new ideas, which could later be converted.
Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
An effective entrepreneurial ecosystem requires the active participation of multiple stakeholders, including businesses, policymakers, educational institutions, social networks, and other civil society actors. CIILE will nurture this ecosystem by bringing together start-ups, industry mentors, eminent academicians and researchers.
Our Objective
1. The main objective of CIILE is to encourage and support startups in the field of Law and Social entrepreneurship.
2. To act as an interface and Networking- Platform between academia, R&D institutions, industries and financial institutions.
3. To make value Addition through its services provided to its incubatees as well as to the existing startups.
4. To creating value added jobs & services, fostering the entrepreneurial spirit.

- Creating a collaborative environment between industry and academia through joint research projects and consulting assignments.
- Incubating early stage Law based innovative entrepreneurial ventures.
- Encouraging and enabling the alignment of R&D activities to the potential needs of the industry.
- Identifying technologies/innovations which have the potential for commercial ventures.
- Create Physical infrastructure and support systems for business incubation activities.
- Foster and promote entrepreneurship spirit.
- Facilitate knowledge creation, innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
- Facilitate networking with professional resources, which include mentors, experts, consultants and advisors for the incubated companies. Enabling the development of high-quality personnel and motivating researchers to grow professionally within organizations through Masters and PhD Programs
